Anyone can be in a relationship with a narcissist. But there are different personality types that are more appealing to narcissists than others. If you happen to have narcissists in your life, consider these personality descriptions:
The importance of emotional intelligence
The development of emotional intelligence is an extremely important part of a child’s education. It helps toddlers to better understand and properly manage their emotions, to approach and communicate with other people more courageously, to understand themselves better, to adapt more easily in a new environment, for example, in kindergarten or school. For a child whose emotional intelligence is developed it is easier to understand his own and those who around him, to be more confident in himself, to solve problems that have arisen and, most importantly, not to be afraid to talk about emotions.
We talked more about emotional intelligence with Agnieška Kasinska providing psychological counseling in Lithuania.
Financial management difficulties lie in childhood
Very often, talking about money in the family is still TABOO. What was it like in your family when you were a child? What patterns of behavior of your parents with finances do you repeat? Why is it worth looking back to childhood?
Family psychologist, Agnieška Kašinska, together with personal finance mentor Vita Brasiene, discusses the influence of childhood experiences on a person’s ability to manage their finances.
The regression hypnotherapy for childhood traumas
When working with clients during psychotherapy, I sometimes encounter a situation where the client remembers some childhood event, usually a painful traumatic event, but only partially, and the main events are like a blank spot – says family psychologist Agnieška Kašinska. Our psyche has the ability to push out painful experiences that cannot be realized and processed. When a person knows that something happened or could have happened, but is unable to remember, it is very frightening and disturbing.
Weight loss and emotional eating, discussion with psychotherapist
Most people imagine that treating overweight with a psychologist or psychotherapist takes decades. They are afraid of this process because they will have to go to the darkest corners of their past. “It is not so. We do not have to be angry with our parents in order to resolve childhood traumas.” – says family psychologist Agnieska Kasinska. “Studies show that eating disorders such as bulimia or anorexia are completely cured with the help of psychotherapy in 67 percent of cases.”
