How to Move Forward After a Loss at Work
Why is it important?
Emotional Response to Tragedy (Stage I)
After a tragic event or the loss of a colleague, the whole team experiences emotional shock. People may feel confusion, guilt, or sadness, and work relationships can become strained. Emotional stabilization helps restore a sense of safety, reduce anxiety, and create space for healthy emotional expression. This session helps employees understand their reactions and learn to care for themselves and each other. It can be followed by the next stage – “Team Resilience After Crisis.”
